Is this much space is normal? It is obstructive for me while watching videos or web browsing. I have seen no gap or space in some other devices runnin on pie.

    Again...

Pls read previous comments as this question has been answered numerous times already.

You can flash this build over the leaked closed beta without loosing data.

Though is issues do persist, don't look for support here until you've returned the device to stock OOS 5.0.8 and re attempted to install the community build of OOS 9 Pie. as no official support is given to the leaked Closed Beta.

I don't know what you mean. Individual app cache? System cache in recovery?

The ability to clear individual app cache is still there, just presented differently than Oreo. Clearing system cache from recovery still works the same as in Oreo.

I meant there was an option to clear cache memory in storage setting, so we used to clear all at once, but now on Android pie we have to clear by app individually.

Can't view notification icons in the status bar.
Eg: When turned on/connected with Bluetooth, icon doesn't appear in the top.

Just a question before I install this beta version.
Will there be any issues installing stable release (over OTA) after installing this beta version? like any sort of data loss or anything else?

Oh, you mean recents. Yeah, I noticed that too. I liked having the ability to close out all recents with a single button push. I don't see that option on Pie.

Edit: on 2nd thought, maybe you don't mean recents. I don't recall an Oreo option to clear all app cache other than wiping the system cache in recovery. Maybe I missed it.

It should be there I believe. After scrolling till the last app you should see this (from the experience on other device, download is going on for my 3T)

    By default it's media.
You can tap on that gear icon to open the settings to control others or whilst using one of them ( like calls or alarm etc.)
