So if I have Andriod 8 right now and have never done any of the other Beta things, will I lose all of my data right now or in the future and if so, how do I back it up using OnePlus Switch?

    Yes they will Duh!

You don't need to install this community build to receive the future official release of OOS 9 Pie.

    Is your bootloader unlocked?
What OOS version are you currently running?

OK Guys! Here's my experience with the build. I was rooted and bootloader unlocked on oos 5.0.8

I backed up all the data to my pc(everything included in the internal storage) bcoz twrp will install the oos 9 build but upon boot it will show decryption unsuccessful msg for which you have to completely wipe your device. After successfully wiping the device boots, do not panic if it the boot takes time. mine took good 20mins to boot. After setting up the device you can again root your device by flashing TWRP as the update rewrites the recovery to stock recovery. And then you can flash magisk. Hope this clears everything. Cheers! Enjoy PIE

A good update, but a lot of improvements on the basis of :
    1) app stability
    2) camera app stability
    3) battery life on a full charge
Highly appreciated if the above taken care of.
This update is less stable than the previous Oreo stable ota

    Why would you do that?

and that's not what I asked. Have you unlocked.the bootloader via a PC using Fastboot?

Then you shouldn't have touched the OEM unlock toggle within Developer options.

You won't lose data flashing this build over OOS 5.0.8 with a locked bootloader.
