This decryption "error" - if storage gets wiped AFTER flashing, surely that's ok if you've backed up? Is this a one-time error then you just get your storage formatted? If so i can live with that. So much easier because I could do a self-contained flash and restore from cloud backups rather than wipe first and then have to hook phone to a computer to transfer the files to flash over.

I've read that if you flash with twrp and then boot back into recovery first you can reflash twrp and root before the system attempts to boot for the first time.

Can anyone confirm if this is right?

I did a factory reset right after I installed the ROM. I did full factory reset, erase internal storage, and clean cache.

Decryption error is a one time thingy, post first boot flashing TWRP let's the device stay on TWRP.

You should see that other guy who had 6 hour SOT and 18 hours battery life and yet complained that he got 'only' 6 hours SOT.

Clean install after OEM Lock. Wiped everything, started from scratch.

    All smooth, fine and great!

another issue I found is that when the battery is low (lower than 15%) battery mode still says it's on 15%.

Maybe, maybe not. I once squeezed in about 5.5 hours of screen usage with 24 hours of battery life sometime back while still on Oreo, but that was only once. Never got even close since then.

I think it is possible if you aren't gaming. I reckon I'll get more or less 6 hrs SOT, but I had got my battery replaced 3 months ago, so I cannot be compared with someone who's using a 2 year old battery.
