well i don't have this package yet, i plan to get it next month but i can tell you that our internet speed is among the best in the world(and maybe the cheapest)- 1000mbps costs around 17$/month here, i have 100mbps for 8$ and i'm very happy with it

Wow prices are crazy i got my Z1 for free on contract with free 4G for only €35,- a month a few months ago when it was the newest flagship.

And i saw another deal the other day only €36,- for either Galaxy S5 or Sony Xperia Z2 or iPhone 5s also with free 4G
And i think they are gonna add LG G3 and HTC One M8.

One of the big reasons i want an OPO is to get windmobile. i'd rather spend 400 bucks and get a 30$ plan than get sucked into a 2 year contract with rogers

Whaaaat 125$/month !!! They really are raping every of you. I can't believe nothing will be done...

And I thought my Videotron 45$/month unlimited call/SMS/CallerID/VoiceMessage/1GB Data was way too much.

precisely why I am trying to rally everyone to actually do something about it.

as i said before, I know its idealistic, but its worth a try.

it worked with HTC to get unlocked bootloaders, now they have a whole platform just for that.. and yes the comparison is flawed..

anyway.. tweet @joenataleCEO #keepMyPlan or follow me on twitta @french_ticklers

You should check out the MVNOs in Canada. Here in the US I use an MVNO called Airvoice Wireless. I pay $30/mo for unlimited talk and texting (I'm not into mobile data it's too expensive so I only use WiFi). Airvoice uses AT&T lines, they buy in bulk and then resell with a very small margin so it ends up being significantly cheaper than AT&T. I won't be owned by the phone company again!

According to by friend, Rogers is increasing their monthly rates on his old plan ($55 for 6GB of data, etc.) By $5 a month. He's thinking of switching to Wind, and I don't blame him. I'm still rocking a cheapo Mobilicity plan for $26.67 a month. Reception seems quite good in Scarborough which is fantastic.
