    Hi guys!

I'll post some of my first pictures testing OnePlus 9 Pro camera color reproduction. Last days in Barcelona have been grey and cloudy so I decided to take some photos to the colorful street art of my city. It seems to me a good subject to start testing the camera capabilities.

With my main camera an A7RIII I always shot in RAW and then I edit the photos with Capture One and Photoshop. You need to work a little more but you gain a lot of flexibility. My goal with this tests is to check how good are the RAW files of the OnePlus 9 Pro. It will be great to have a capable camera always ready on our pocket, isn't it? With these new cameras with Hasselblad collaboration seems that it can be finally possible.

So I shot mainly in PRO mode and RAW format. A great thing about shooting in RAW with the OnePlus 9 Pro is that with every RAW photo you get its JPEG version so you can compare images and check the processing that the phone does to the JPEGs.

I found the results to be beyond the expected. On these images the colors are rich and accurate, the contrast is well balanced and does a great job keeping detail.

As you can see the differences between the JPEGs and the edited RAWs are not that important. The JPEGs tend to be conservative with the black level and the images get this slightly washed look. The only complaint on the JPEFs is about the sharpness level applied, I think it's too strong and IMHO the images will be nicer with a less aggresive one.

On the RAWs. I edited them with Capture One but I keep it simple, just pushed the blacks and adjusted some colors to keep the JPEG look. RAW files in origin are flatter than JPEGs. I found very easy to work with OnePlus 9 Pro RAW files. they get a decent amount of info to recover shadows and highligts and push colors to my taste. And, very important, I can adjust the sharpness level to a more subtle one to keep details.

NOTE: All the images on the post have been exported with Capture One to keep the files under 5mb, but JPEGs are not edited.

It's a LAB review, so I think they're supposed to post in the 9 Series Section? (Not sure)
