Thank you for supporting our first US wireless provider partnership with T-Mobile!

    Hi everyone,

Since we announced we’ll be launching our latest premium flagship device, the OnePlus 6T, exclusively with T-Mobile, we’re grateful that the product and the new partnership have been received so positively by our community.

As you know, for three days following our largest-ever launch event in New York on October 29th, T-Mobile’s Times square store was the only location nationwide where fans could purchase the OnePlus 6T. On launch day, we had nearly 700 people line up to check out the OnePlus 6T at T-Mobile’s Time Square Store.

Combining sales from both T-Mobile and OnePlus.com, the first day of OnePlus 6T sales was 86% higher than the first day of OnePlus 6 sales in the United States - marking the OnePlus 6T as our best-selling phone in the US at launch.

With the OnePlus 6, we sold more than 1 million units in 22 days. With a positive sales trajectory thus far, the OnePlus 6T is currently on track to be our best selling phone to date.

T-Mobile will continue to exclusively carry the OnePlus 6T Mirror Black with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, allowing our community to finance a OnePlus device in the United States for the first time.

In what marks a momentous step for our nearly five-year-old company, we’re so proud to work with T-Mobile as our first-ever wireless partner in the U.S.

    Thanks,
    Kameron

Yeah, the update situation is already a bit annoying. There are features that were announced/displayed that were supposed to launch with the phone that aren't available in the 9.0 T-Mobile build that shipped with the devices. How long should we expect the delay to be for updates? Have you submitted your November build to them yet?

I haven't financed or even purchased a carrier phone in ten years... until the OnePlus/T-Mobile partnership. I hope T-Mobile continues to carry OnePlus phones and that the partnership grows. I'd love if the two companies continued to work out trade in deals like the launch deal. guarantee I'd upgrade regularly. Though I do realize that is unlikely.

I can wait for updates... I've used Motorola. nothing can be as bad as their update schedule.

I'm sure I'll get used to it as well, once a few updates roll out and I get over the heartache of being excluded the from the Beta channel.

The initial hump has been the biggest challenge considering that the phone is still missing half of the features advertised at launch, and the other half don't work as well as expected.

I'm definitely looking forward to getting the updates, don't get me wrong. After getting two security patches in a year of owning a Moto, I ended up flashing a new ROM just to be safe. As slow as updates from the uncarrier may be, I can thank Moto for the overabundance of patience they've give me lol.

I'm a glass half full guy though and I got burned by Pixel (I REALLY wanted to love that phone), so I already feel like it's a massive upgrade and I know it will only get better from here.

Also, check out the XDA forum. They've already figured out how to flash the newest software on the T-Mobile version if you can get an unlock.

I am a fan as well, bought mine on day one at a store. It happened to be the only one they had received for launch day.

Loving my TMo 6T. This phone is insanely fast and has great battery life. I'm not too upset about the update situation. kind of expected it with a network phone. It doesn't take away the fact that this is a great phone.

The 1+6t is locked to T-Mobile BTW. But you can unlock it through them once done with contract or pay cycle or unlock it your self. Yes, there is no bloat ware and it's really snappy.
Let us know your experience away from iPhone. I bet You are liking it.

I paid the phone off when I bought it. it is unlocked, still can't delete the bloat ware from TMobile (I tried) . only thing the unlock does is put you on the tmo white list to not lock your sim .

Great to hear. That's the way to go.
Did you try rooting and using ROM from the 1+ download section?
