Improve the image processing - By
@Abhishek654
[Not Adopted]
Thanks for taking the time to share your idea with us. We believe the improvements in image processing is a matter of personal preferences based on various factors. We’ll need to collect more data and feedback to have a better understanding about what the majority of users truly value. You may share your insight in more details to help us better improve the product. We’ll keep working on optimizing the performance of OnePlus camera based on the user feedback.
4.
Animations during accessory pairing and connecting - By
@Oreo.
[Not Adopted]
This is a great idea. We do want to bring an exclusive animation experience to our users. But it poses some kind of compatibility challenge when considering various lines of OnePlus audio accessories. Currently we are more focusing on delivering a faster pairing experience, and also we will keep an eye on the user feedback and modify the product strategy accordingly.
5.
Navigation Bar customisation - By
@Yash Pratap Singh.
[Not Adopted]
Thanks for taking the time to elaborate on your idea. Actually we’ve always been exploring ways to improve the customization experience for our users. But navigation bar might not be a good topic to tackle with. In compliant with the Android guideline, there’re some limitations on customizing the navigation bar, which might lead to less than desirable effects overall. So we won’t consider this specific idea for now but will continue to devote our efforts to bringing other options to enhance your customization experience.
6.
Replace the Google dialer to OnePlus Dialer - By
@Abhishek654
[Not Adopted]
Thanks for your feedback. We’re aware that some of our OnePlus Nord users prefer OnePlus Phone with its call recording feature to Google Dialer. But we believe overall it’ll benefit a majority of our users if the call recording experience of Google Dialer can be just further enhanced, so we reported your feedback to Google. Let’s stay tuned for more updates. Also we’ll continue to listen to your voice and look for more feasible solutions to optimize the user experience. For more information, you may click this
link.
7.
Notification Count on Icons (App Badges) - By
@manasarora98
[Not Adopted]
It is true that it provides a clearer clue for users to decide whether to open the app with notification counts shown on the badge. But we’ll also need to take lots of factors into consideration when evaluating a product solution. In this case, we try to strike a balance between the usability and aesthetic value, and avoid causing extra anxiety. And notification dots is the solution that we’ve adopted ever since Android Q which satisfies the needs of a great many of people. Still we’ll keep listening to your feedback and work on presenting a better solution.
8.
Power Diet - Save up for a rainy day! - By
@YRJ
[Adopted]
This is a great idea! We have also observed that when users are in scenarios where charging is inconvenient, the value of longer-lasting battery life takes precedence over a more comprehensive application usage experience. So, we also think it is necessary to implement such a feature. When users enable this feature, we will do our best to prioritize ensuring the battery life as much as possible.
9.
Battery Health - By
@Avik_Maiti
[Not Adopted]
Unfortunately, we don't think it's necessary to show data on the condition of the battery after a year or two to use. Because it is bound to wear out somewhat compared to the original. This would add to the psychological burden of the average user, even though these losses may not bring any change in the actual usage experience.
Apologize for the delay of the announcement of all the adopted ideas of the 3 rounds. It will be released tomorrow on Nov 17th.
