Sad to see someone go for these reasons, I myself have had some problems with GPS dropping but that was only about once in a month an not a single time since I installed the 44 update :\ really concerns me to see that there is a large divide between users experiences with this magnificent piece of tech.

Nothing to complain regarding the quality of Nokia hardware...
But... Windows Phone.. already tried this-so-called operating system: it's a nightmare!
I personally think it's really meaningless compared with Android (even this is not perfect), and I would like to kindly advice you: try it before you buy it!
    I'm not jocking :)

I never had any of these issues. Maybe you can still send it back? If not just sell it on ebay for parts.

I will probably end up selling it on ebay, easier than the hassle of trying to get a replacement unit with no guarantee the issue wont still be there.

Its not a patch on Android but I have used it before and don't mind it too much. Had the Lumia 1020 at the start of the year for a few weeks. Just want to try out the 1520 and see how it feels in the hand.
I normally change phones every 2/3 months so like to try out whats on the market

I had a lot of your issues as well. Flashing the radio of the new CM nightlies seems to have sorted out most of them (if not all).
And its pretty easy to do as well..
But whatever you do. Good luck and have fun :)

reason i'm coming to android was just frustration with windows phone apps, you can tell the majority of them are just ported across, pic resizing, missing features etc....although bigger screen size (admittedly mine is 2 yrs old now) might resolve some of these.

have been very happy with windows browsing and UI in general, just the development of the apps has always been "when the developers really start getting into it".....which is what they've been saying for a few years now.

    What OTA are you using?
Have you tried reflashing CM? (See OnePlus' "ultimate fix").

Too bad the issues are making it difficult for your productive use. Good luck with your new device.

See ya on the backside when O+2 comes out next year.

    All the best.
