It's been a week since the OP2 was delivered to me so I thought I'd share how I got an invite because this deserves to be told.

I haven't even been on these forums for two months and I did not get an OPO, my number on the list is way over 500k and yet, thanks to a complete stranger I met on these forums I was able to get an OP2.

I came across this user called @Cool Droid who has a thread about a pretty cool Whatsapp Mod that he's working on. We exchanged a few messages and sometime during our conversation he asked me if I had an invite. He promised to get me an invite if and when he received shareable invites.

He didn't receive his invite but got the invite from someone else. He then went out of his way to try and get me an invite. He contacted people who were giving away invites and did more than he had to.

Fast forward to a few weeks after our initial conversation, I receive a message asking me to come online ASAP. I go online and log into Amazon. He sends me the code and a week later I receive the OP2.

I don't know who he is. I don't even know his name but I just want to say Thank You!

It's not everyday you come across someone who is willing to go out of their way to help a complete stranger.

I've come across some really amazing people on these forums and this guy is one of them. I just thought he deserved a shout out.

All he asked for in return was proof that I had bought the phone. Since I'm a photographer, I thought a picture would be best.
