Nowadays not anymore. I heard a lot of people being afraid of charging their phone at night. If you use trustable chargers (no garbage chargers of 30 cents from AliExpres) then you should be completely fine. I Dash-Charged my OnePlus 3 for 3 years long, every night and it still has 85% battery capacity. Overcharging isn't a thing anymore. When the phone detects it's full, the charger simply stops charging or it's being dissolved.

No. The charging tech turns off current flow to device when it gets to 100%

Define 'not working properly'. What about other apps? May be a bug in the app then.
Well, if you want: can you please test something for me?

Can you try if this works on the 7 Pro? https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6t/how-to/guide-mclaren-fignerprint-animation-t3882236. Doesn't require root.

Good question. I also wished we had a more recent one. I think we'll get another update this month though, which will also bring a new security-patch.

One thing to know about security patches is that one that's a couple of months old doesn't make your phone extremely vulnerable. Many of the exploits found require physical access to the device, or an extremely certain set of steps to be followed. Do the following and you'll be fine:

    1) Keep your device safe. Don't give others your pin. Don't use pattern or face unlock.

    2) Don't install random APKs off the internet. Keep to the play store

    3) Don't go to malicious websites

Follow those steps and you'll be OK

It feels so much faster and more fluid than my 3. Others I spoke that come from an S10 or OnePlus 6(T) with 60Hz say that 90Hz is a really nice addition.

Regarding battery life: I'm able to get 6 - 10 hours of Screen-on-Time, with 90Hz/1440p. Evidence is here: [The Lab] A OnePlus 7 Pro review - By AnonymousWP (Updated on 17-06-2019)

It really does make quite a difference. You don't notice it initially, but I could never go back to 60Hz! For me, battery is alright! some have gotten much better than me, it's all based on personal usage

The 90 frame rate is very much noticable since it's really fluid. It just grows on you and like others said I don't think I could move back to a device using 60. i have used it beside a S10+ and it is visible. I use my device for social medical, gaming and maps everyday and get about 5 hrs on screen time. I charge my phone at 7 and by 10 in the evening I'm at about 20 percent. My location and mobile data are always on!

True I am on April as well. We have received a lot of updates with respect to the software. As some fellow buddies said as long as you don't share your pin and avoid downloading apks from the internet you should be fine. I'm confident OnePlus will update it shortly. It seems they are working very hard on fixing the camera issues based on the multiple feedback they have received
