that's not implemented by OnePlus ...that's by Google

OnePlus 5t it's implemented by OnePlus...which is not possible in OnePlus 3t and other versions

Google's Trusted face = iPhone X face I'd in mechanism
That works like unlock with face and doesn't take to home screen. You need to swipe up on both to get home screen.

OnePlus face unlock is nothing just added a extra function to Google's Trusted face. After verify the the face it will take to home screen.

why don't you integrate the fingerprint in power button ? I like the positioning of fingerprint in the rear end but you can actually remove the sensor

As far as I know, Trusted Face is not open source so they can't just add functionality to it. They need to develop a solution from the ground up.

In my personal opinion, the 18:9 is not a feature at all.

I would've preferred a larger screen to body ratio without sacrificing the fingerprint scanner on the front (and the capacitive buttons). I believe that this would have made OnePlus stand out more than running after a trend like all others (let's face it, every company is working on 18:9 super Mega fullscreen... bla bla bla... Date to be different!)

For me at least a phone without capacitive buttons is a no go. So I'm afraid I'll gladly pass. The 5 might be a nice option though.

It's a good evolution, IMO. The form factor of the phone did not need improving. Feels great n the hand. Plus if you already have the molds why mess with with the fabrication process... Looking forward to getting my hands (and face) on this one.

i wasnt implying towards software support and i dont care much about that when xda and lineage are there.they set the price same as 5 and so most people wont buy 5 now i mean why would they? setting the price same as recent flagship with improvements means no 5 now! and if not it might make people think why dont us go with T leaving regular versions.

Are you planning on adding face unlock into app locker? we already have fingerprint and pattern/passcode but unlocking your password protected apps with facial recognition would be cool

Steady on, give it a month and it will all change:tearsofjoy:
Being well behind the pack doesn't change with just a screen and a rehash of a old android unlock system.
Its still a OP and they always come with issues, but every dog has his day I suppose;)

My only question is why on a launch and advertising event the Polish dude who talked about the security measures said "moving the fingerprint scanner on the back s*cked" - man that was unprofessional.
