Sad only because i bought OP a month and a half ago.....still haven't used all its features!! Yet there is always a new one coming. The point is for company not to make a product obsolete by the release of a new one.The new product should be something else in parallel not a replacement of something that is already new.

I hope so, it's relatively inexpensive to add so let's see what's in store.

The 6T does not make the 6 obsolete. They (OnePlus) have committed to SW updates for 2 years and security patches basically for 3 years. I still have and still use my OnePlus One, it therefore is not obsolete as it still gets the job done for me. I may however, be getting the 6T but the fact that I could still use a 4 year old phone running Oreo shows that a phone is basically obsolete when you decide it is.

On one hand, the OP6t seems more ambitious than the OP6 but no head phone jack and an in-screen fingerprint sensor might be holding me back. Although the inscreen fingerprint is a good concept, there are no guarantees that it will work properly and it just might be one of those concepts that don't work out.

I also still have my OPO, running Marshmallow no less because I see no particular need to upgrade it (also, lazy). It's my backup phone, but I still use it every day and other than about 16 hours of battery life it's still great.

I also also still have my SGH-D500, with a battery life of about a week and a half, but that's strictly a burner phone for reasons we won't get into here.
