The OnePlus 8T is the best OnePlus so far. Here's why.

Coming from a long line of Samsung phone I thought I would go one plus 8t my wife wasn't with this idea and she went Samsung S20 fe so having them both in house haven't told her still think the Samsung has the edge camera seems to take better pictures on the plus side the 65 warp charge is great saved me from my bad habits of docking the phone all the time ( but still dislike plugging the power cord in reminds me of iPhone) I don't think I will keep this phone I like it but some Amazon apps don't work on it no IP rating camera I'm hoping the one plus 9 pro will have it all sorted if not hello Samsung again sad to say

I can say from my experience @Zeaiclies is not a Fanboy but he is a slightly misguided fan, LG using a Samsung screen.
As for the fanboy they always experience the sole of my shoe as I trample all over them with facts.

Samsung makes many screens for other devices.
Just as Sony makes most cameras.

Appreciate your thoughts man, well spoken. Just for the record, I have owned the OPO, OP2, OP3, OP5 and OP6T. The OP8T is my first oneplus phone since the 6T. I didn't like pop-up cameras and curved screens. So I skipped the 7 series (didn't like 7T camera module lol) and skipped the 8 series too till now.

This is the first time I have felt so happy and excited with a oneplus phone since probably the Oneplus One. Not just with the phone and its performance, but also with the software.
OOS has come a long way and now for me offers a smooth experience and user friendly UI. I rooted all my oneplus phones for various reasons before because I felt that OOS always lacked something I needed. This time now after weeks with the OP8T I don't even feel the urge to root in the slightest. I used to root after 1 or 2 days with OOS before.
I for one am very happy with the 8T also.

News alert, they didn't make the OP8T trying to attract people who just bought the OP8 pro or OP8 just a few months before. If you think like that you will be disappointed every 6 months when they release an upgrade smh :)

This forum's clashing between features. Really not sure what to think about it anymore.

LG and Samsung have been at war for years, so they are not likely to use a Samsung panel at any point. Hence why they were using IPS lcds when everyone started moving to Samsungs Amoled panels.

OnePlus 8t is great tech don't get me wrong. But I think the OnePlus 8 is the best oneplus, value wise.
And what do you get? said:
Amazing screen: 6.55inch Full HD Amoled display. Very bright, high colour accuracy. Certified by DisplayMate. HDR10
Battery King: Easily will last you more than day with medium usage. Almost a whole day, heavier usage. Warp charge 30T will get your phone from 0-100% in about 50mins. On average, 2% a min.
Fast and Furious: Snapdragon 865 coupled with 8GB Ram, UFS 3.0, 90hz screen and 128GB of storage. 8GB of Ram is plenty, no one really needs 12GB of Ram. A 90hz refresh rate, is enough of a boost in itself. The difference between 90hz - 120hz is small, but a massive upgrade from 60hz. This phone will trump up pretty much anything you throw at it. Supersmooth transitions with zero lag. Clutter free software that looks clean and professional helps a lot!
Everyday Camera: The camera is decent. Not the best but it usually won't disappoint. It's got a triple camera set up, very similar to the 8T. You can get nice clear shots and is ticks all boxes when it comes to delivering basic camera needs. If you want something more sophisticated, you'll have to fork out more. Honestly though, it's good and it won't disappoint.
Price: You can find some incredibly cheap deals out there for this phone - and black Friday is coming up.
Curved Screen....unlike 8T: You either really like this or really hate this. I just don't understand why people would hate it. Gives you a better experience when watching and contrary to what people are saying with Palm rejection - it's works well, especially if you get a case, screen protector and update to OxygenOS 11.
Cool Design: Design is beautiful, high screen to body ratio - that is future proof. The other phones in the series look pretty much the same. The OnePlus 9 leaked renders. Looks pretty much like the OnePlus 8s identical twin.
In my opinion, the OnePlus 8 remains the best value smartphone. Has most of the features needed in the entire 8 Series for it to be a great phone and for its price - definitely worth it. You'll have a great phone, that looks great and it will last you a long time and you'll have some extra money on the side too.

Yep quite are few are using Samsung screens, then there are some whom let people assume they are using a Samsung panel when they are not.
