The OnePlus 8T is the best OnePlus so far. Here's why.

Ok I'm in the UK & I purchased the Chinese model KB2000 running the latest software 11.0.6.7 KB05AA which I updated yesterday, running very smooth no issues whatsoever.

Seems like a lot of people are facing many issues with oneplus 8T.

I am switching back to oneplus 6 which seems to be way better than 8T.

And this one is up for sale!

Doesn't matter where which country he/she in. Incremental update works like that only. You received update doesn't mean everyone received it.

It certainly is a pioneering device, having been one of the first to come with A11. Coming from an S9, I'm very impressed.
Unfortunately, I can't say the same for OP Customer Service. I purchased my 8T on my 12/23 and added the 7T to my shopping cart for the $99 promo. Unfortunately, I kept getting an error at checkout, which didn't let me make the purchase of the 7T along with the 8T. The site kept continuously refreshing, removing the 7T from my shopping cart. When I called OP Support about this, the rude rep I spoke with told me that without a screenshot as proof that this happened, I'm SOL. The only solution she had was that I return the device and purchase it once more, adding the 7T to the shopping cart once more. Her response left me speechless, as I thought it was the worst approach she could have taken to resolve my issue. said:
Not exactly the best experience after switching from Samsung....

Yes it was the best until the update that kill it and become a phone that can't play a video, can't even answer or call to others... Just a phone that can text messages

I think OnePlus jumped the gun when deciding to put Android 11 on it OOB. Personally, I am having no major issues on mine even after applying the latest .7 update! My Fingerprint sensor is still flaky right after turning on the screen, but other than that it is OK. I think it is because of the US/NA variant that I have along with the fact that I never use any voice assist apps and have them all either uninstalled, or at least disabled. I am fairly convinced that the Indian Variant is the one having the vast majority of the issues as there were numerous complaints long before this latest update. And now with this latest update the Indian Variant has become an unusable piece of junk for many, many people. This is my 3rd OnePlus phone and I have had great luck with all 3 (6, 7-Pro, 8T) but I will be way more cautious before I buy another one! It is time for OnePlus to get their developers back from vacation, or whatever they're doing, put out some type of news release to tame the disgruntled customers, and get ahead of this immediately, or OnePlus is going to die a slow painful death. Let's see how many 8T's go up for sale over the next few days!

Ist post, have had many OnePlus phones, from the 3t, 5t, 7t, 8 and now 8t. I didn't think a phone could beat my 7y in overall functionality, but this one may come close. I just got it off Tmobile in the States on promotion, so on the end of my lease only paid 350$ for it. Hard to beat that price. Only paid 499 for my 7t as well.

Good thing I read up on updates as I haven't done the latest one. Ended up pushing it off and glad I did. Seems most are from India, but still not taking the chance. My fingerprint works well enough, not as well as my 7t, but close. Honestly as if right now (knock on wood)I haven't had any issues a lot of folks seem to have. Thing is a tank, super quick and smooth and the battery life is insane! Currently 53% with 5 hours SOT. Didn't think a phone could beat my LG v60, but this one comes close and that's a 60 hertz screen to 120 on this one. Also I have dark mode on and battery brightness under 50, so if I am reading right 120 is always on?

Either way, glad to be part of the community finally. Rock on!
