The OnePlus 8T is the best OnePlus so far. Here's why.

I think you are so wrong and just trying to suck up to OnePlus with such a long propaganda filled post. The "flagship" 8t sucks! It is not near as good as the 8 Pro I bought. I can't believe OnePlus would even build this phone. As a long time OnePlus customer I am very disappointed and mad that OnePlus would even build this phone. Then sell it for 50 bucks less than the 8 Pro. And it doesn't come with a clear protective case either. The 8t is the worst phone OnePlus has ever built. Don't waste your money!

this phone is beyond a doubt the worst, most unstable dumpster fire of a phone I've ever had the displeasure of using.

my 3T and 5T were both rock-solid, but this 8T? holy hell, man.

two OTA updates (followed by cache wipes) and suddenly the audio on any video is gone and video stutters.
then the audio for phone calls and whatsapp calls just died.

I just did a factory reset now and Lawnchair (downloaded from Google Play) keeps crashing constantly.

I do wish the 8T supported wireless charging and yes it would be nice have the fixed refresh rate, although I personally don't see a need for the higher refresh rates for web browsing and find that it drains the battery faster when running higher refresh rate on apps that it will not really benefit.

My son and wife rock with Samsung and they both have the Galaxy 20+ I always find myself on PhoneArena so I did a comparison:

    https://www.phonearena.com/phones/compare/Samsung-Galaxy-S20 ,OnePlus-8T/phones/11289,11419

& I found this device was on par with the top tier specs found today. I was very happy with that. I had a Google Pixel 3XL previous to this. I do miss the seamless Google experience but, I'm hopeful my OP8T will step up and knock it out the park. Great review by the way

I don't think so. I have a bad gaming Experience in my oneplus 8T. Its 60hz and 90hz refresh rate are not optimized . Fps doesn't perform properly for game like pubg[e]1f613[/e]

I love this phone. Maybe people should do more due diligence before updating a phone. I generally read reviews before updating hence why I don't have the lasted update and phones been one of the better experiences I've had. No lag, buttery smooth and ridiculous battery life.

Only thing I can say, I don't see much of a difference from Android 10 to 11. I am fine with that as I loved my 7t on 10.

Hopefully they fix the lastest update as this phone gets a lot of bad rap due to updates, which really isn't the phones fault....

It is NOT the phone...it is Android 11 not being implemented properly. Yes it is OnePlus's fault for not testing the software more thoroughly, but as it is the "phone hardware" is very good. It is a shame that the different variants are having different results...but then again that is the fault of OnePlus! I have the Global/USA/NA variant (whatever you want to call it) and even with the latest .7 update mine is working great allbeit with a little hesitation with the fingerprint scanner when first unlocking the phone. Otherwise all is good for me!

IMO OnePlus 8 Pro (I have the 12 gb ram, 256 gb rom) is best for me, and I went for it over 8T, looking at all the reactions, + wireless charging.
But give it time, these issues will be fixed.
As I have said before, the T versions are basically over clocked versions of the same SoCs (chip).

Strongly disagree ! This is thr worst... Rolled with Os11 which isn't even stable ! Thus it's destroying everyone's phone . Force closes , Battery heating issue , poor macro camera . This 8T sucks .

international unlocked version comes with clear case in the box..and it's not just 50 usd difference...maybe in the US...but as I'm posting this, the difference between the cheapest 8 pro with 12/256 vs how much I paid for my 8t is 150 usd on ali. and i pretty much like what I am getting for the money: flat screen and 65w charging. I wish they would make a 6.2" variant for people that hate big phones, you listening oneplus?

I concur. I did not like my Samsung curved glass! I would have bought the 8 PRO if it was not for the curved glass. IMO 8T works great for me. I have no issue. 65W charging is also a plus over samsung!

    Continue to Exceed

Hello all. Just signed up to see how bad the new firmware update is and am thinking of switching to 8T from S10+ at the moment. Do you recommend doing this? All I found out is bad camera, bugs, nice design, fast processors etc. I've been using S10+ since the first day they launched with goodlock features. Just wanted to experience new phone, that's all. Thanks in advance!
