    Bro, Just check OP 7/7T/pro threads within the app. This is what will happen to your 8T after a year when new OP phones comes out.


    TLDR: Slow and buggy updates, Late Android Upgrades. Introducing more bugs with security patchs.

    major camera issues still persists
    Posted issue with pics and logs
    No response on when it'll be fixed said:
    I am Starting to get frustrated now
    UPDATE:- THE CAMERA ISSUE IN 2X PORTRAIT MODE IS FIXED IN THE LAST UPDATE

    Ya, who cares about any of this when the mic doesn't even work.

    Screw OnePlus and their over priced junk and their over priced water bottles. I can't wait to get rid of this phone but unfortunately I'm stuck with it for a while.

    Even LG and other brands is better than OP.

    There is no way I can merge calls with the 8T.
    After I place the first caller on hold and call the second caller, there is no option to Merge the calls. Just Swap.
    This Oxygen OS deficiency has been widely mentioned in the forum, but OP have done nothing to solve it.
    A phone missing common call related functionalities I used to have on my mobile phones 25 years ago, cannot be considered a bargain today.

    I have always been a xiomi user due to budget reasons and finally getting to shift to OnePlus. The problem is I am only allowed to buy upto 8T (not pro). Extremely confused whether to buy 8T or wait for 9. There are so many complaints such as no wireless charging, no Qhd, no ip68. In dire need of the suggestion of OnePlus community. Thank you.

    Got mine today, a great phone overall, flat screen is so much easier to use and see (outside).
    It is a beast in a smaller form factor than the pro, I'm really happy with it.

    Go with the 8T, I do not need my phone in the shower, and it charges up in half an hour, so the lack of Qi is not an issue for me...you won't tell the difference between FHD and QHD without a magnifier.

    I come from an iPhone = overcost priced phone without USB C, 120ghz display and without fast charging.
    This 8T is running Android blazing fast, I love it!

    I updated via Oxygen Updater today (not pushed to Germany as of now).
    No issues so far.
    Battery drain seems to be reduced.
