Has probably already been mentioned in previous 48 pages of this post, but Techradar's review of the OnePlus One mentions it has very competitive battery performance. Here is a link to the article:

The non-removable/non-replaceable battery is a bit of a concern for me too, but the OnePlus seems to have good quality parts so hope the battery is the same. The Blackberry Z30 I use at work also has a non-replaceable battery, but Blackberry has a long history and solid reputation for quality/durability while OnePlus is still a very new company.

I received my OPO on Thursday. So far the only criticisms I have are:

Washed out appearance of the screen. This used to be adjustable, but that disappeared with the latest CM mod (44s). Please bring it back!

    Battery only charges to 98%.
Whaaat? Not a big enough deal to contact customer service, though, and no other battery issues.

My battery did the same. Eventually, it showed 100%. Either way, it is an awesome battery.

It has great lasting power. I almost never need to recharge during a day, and, believe, me, I use power drainers like GPS and Sirius XM all day long.

    Thanks for the information.
It would be very helpful for the OPO owners if you please describe the correct procedure of charging the battery - first charge as also future recharges as various opinions are being spread leading to sheer confusion. We want to learn from OPO Administrators.

That Z30 is a fantastic device. The performance, design, everything. It even looks great!

I've read so much about poor battery performance in the forums. I've always had excellent results and I don't baby my phones. I set to max brightness, vivid colors, use the Wifi, twitter and text all day long.

Hello everybody, I got a question about the first usage of the OPO.
Once I received the phone, should I finish the battery to 0% before giving a full charge?
Should I always do that? Or do it for the first 2-3 times?
    thanks :D

Absolutely no. Some people are reporting troubles when doing this.

Earlier this past summer, before I was aware of the OPO, I purchased a newly released Huawei Ascend Mate 2, a 6.1" phone to replace my problematic Samsung Galaxy phone.

One of the interesting features of this Huawei Ascend Mate 2 as its battery life, which according to Huawei (http://www.gethuawei.com/detail/huawei-ascend-mate-2/HUA-MT2-L03#tech-specs): "Sony non-removable 3900 mAh (Typical), 3750 mAh (Minimum); 60 hours of standard use. Reverse charging capable (with AF16 cable accessory)"

I have used the Huawei on an entire weekend away from a charger, heavily using the GPS and offline mapping and topographic map apps, and still had about 30% remaining battery when I came home.

My phone came with the AF16 charging cable, a double ended micro USB male connector (image attached), which is intended to charge lesser phones from the the Ascend Mate 2 battery.

The OPO I recently purchased for my wife, which is currently listed as "Processing", is intended to replace my wife's ailing Samsung Galaxy S Blaze, which has terrible battery life; it is this Samsung phone that I have had to sometimes charge directly from my Huawei phone.
