    That's it.
I don't care about NFC or the weaker cheaper version of Snapdragon 801 than Oneplus One version.

WiFi chip standard should be 5Ghz.

Why you gotta cheap out on 2.4Ghz? Ugh because of this I can't buy, hope your next version includes 5ghz and I'll buy it :)

Do malls, restaurants, establishments, coffee shops, etc. serve 5GHz wifi nowadays?

2.4 works good enough everywhere, 5. is never really needed, I would Rather have a fax, and scanner! that would have been great to have on the X, i see possibilities

You don't give any good reason about 2.4GHz vs. 5GHz... so I can conclude that you don't know anything about WiFi bands and why 2.4GHz is 'better' (and not 'cheaper') than 5GHz...
    Don't buy...Bye!

No problems with wifi speed on my OPO, videoplay is ok. Being no gamer, fine with me. Sometimes with connecting. HTC windows connects, OPO not.
No connection, zero speed, i tell you:cool:

OnePlus X smartphone is an amazing with great features. Its runs on Android OS, v5.1.1 (Lollipop) and uses Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot, which really good internet connection speed for downloading, watching video online.

I think it is completely comprehensible and valid to have certain requirements when buying a product. If the product doesn't meet those criterias just don't buy it! Luckily OnePlus offers a whole range of products these days and in your case the OnePlus 2 should be perfectly fine. It is really top-notch, offers a superb camera, a fast processor, unmatched 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM and - above all - a Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz 802.11b/g/n and 5GHz 802.11a/n/ac). Ok, it's a little more expensive, but it was never cheap to have a fine taste.

Now go ahead and give yourself the treat you earn!

Personally I am quite happy with the Ceramic X. No phone ever felt more precious...
Having a choice is a great thing.

Why exactly is that? One of the few advantages of 5g is less interference, on the other side the range is worse. There is no performance gains from 5g over 2.4g so why would it be a deal breaker for anyone? Its just a different frequency.

Oneplus did a really great job with supporting only 2,4 Ghz. Bluetooth is also working at 2,4 Ghz so if you use bluetooh like me for a smartwatch, wifi is really bad working. Just why?
