    malidan , May 5, 2018 :
The OP6 has been certified on Tenaa and it states the 6 will come with a 3300 mAh battery.
Though not a deal breaker I'm sure this will come as a disappointment to many.
The other specs are pretty much what has been leaked over the last few weeks.

    A6000 OnePlus 6
    Size: 155.7 x 75.35 x 7.75mm
    Weight: 177g
    Screen: 6.28-inch AMOLED display with a 2280 x 1080
    Soc: Snapdragon 845
    Ram: 6/8GB of RAM
    Storage: 64,128,256
    Etc.

Yeah I noticed that too. I think there's a limit to the battery size if you still want to build a thin phone

Yeah make thin phone and leave kickstand at the back to increase back cover sales, always makes sense.:D

Though i'm not expecting a T model, this is spec upgrade no.1 that they have conveniently created.
Only using a 16mb front cam is no.2 seen as the others in the group are using 24mb.

Thin phones are overrated. Make that 3mm fatter and give me a 5k mah battery.

This seem to be a spreading disease with Oems( other than Huawei) to rely on the latest SOC to maintian or increase battery life. Thats why all last year's offering were way behind the S7E in drain tests over on LBS YT channel.

We'll more MP doesn't always give a better picture. Let's hope they really improved software compared to the 5 and 5t. And of course you never know with oneplus releasing a 6t

Agreed. I'm not a fan of thin phones, they don't fill me with confidence when it comes to grip.

True, thats why i can't understand why OP persists with number counts.
Everything they do is all about having bigger numbers.
If they don't include OIS it will be more of the same, EIS needs a lot of work also.
The OP6's counterpart the R15 ain't ripping up any trees so don't get the hopes up.:)

If QI is included it will.explan why the 6 is a little thicker than the R15., yet housing a smaller battery

    Etc:cool:

I reckon they are trying to beat Huawei's Supercharge times.
Small battery , more juice behind it, big hype;)
As I said earlier numbers, that's what OP's about.
So expects notification issues as OP's doze gets mega agressive to save on battery.

well to be fair the 5t also has not much battery and still seems to hold easily past one day to most people.

I guess that the notch size, the option to hide it or not and the overall design will do a lot.

Certainly, glass is something i've always wanted on phones, i feel like metal is just decent and plastic is cheap, glass is the only true way to go to give some premium feel, and I couldn't care less about it shattering.

I don't drop phones. is that easy. :p

Will see when they launch it, if you don't take price into account, the device is good enough is most if not all areas, as long as they improve the camera it's a solid recipe. Will see then how the pricetag puts that recipe on the shelves...

I'm not really expecting it, OP's upgrade schedule has never supporter more than 3 changes outside Ram, SOC and storage. They also always drop 1, but its looking like a first on that one because I can't think of anything they can drop this time round.
I still can't believe they dropped ois on the 5's, that was penny pinching beyond belief.

It's a melting pot right now, nearly everything( bar Apple) can be had in the £500-£600 range.
OP have got their work cut out, the MI Mix 2s was £401 last week.
