While you & I are of course awaiting the One Plus 7 to launch, I have to praise the OP3 that I have been using since 2.5 years now.

    1) Though glass backs are in these days, I certainly feel the aluminium finish on the rear of OP3 is truly better in every sense. Durable, no hassle of easy scratches, no finger smudges, looks premium to my eye. #GiveaThoughtBringItBack
    Thank God matte finish exists

    2) While every phone maker is aiming no bezels, I fail to understand the obsession behind it, specially at the cost of front mounted sensors, a selfie camera, etc. Primarily, when a phone has say 6 inches of screen, what does 0.2 inches (which could be for bezels) exactly lead to? when there are bezels, you can hold the phone properly (specially while watching videos) and you dont accidentally end up clicking random stuff (which happens on youtube, given that vertical bezels have also been reduced to achieve a better screen to body ratio). also, end to end screen means when you are not on home screen, in order to swipe down, the reach of your finger has to be at the extreme top of the display.
I understand these could seem minor aspects, but then the attention to detail, is what One Plus is known for. (And I thus love the awesome Oxygen OS, which has so many minute things well thought of)

    3) A physical capacitive finger print reader somehow just makes me feel better using it. (specially considering in-display scanner technology is still in its nascent stage). also, may be, it's probably got to do with the tactile feel (remember how the BlackBerry keyboard gave us the pleasure of typing).

    4) The option to have the physical keys to use for back and recents is amazing on OP3.
the back button, the finger print scanner and the recents button have such multiple functionalities. normal click, long press and double click. wowww!!!!

    5) The presence of the 3.5 mm jack

    6) Despite being into its 3rd year, the stable pie is expected and soon One Plus shall push it

    7) Snapdragon 820 clubbed with 6 GB of RAM & support for AptX .. isn't the device still ahead of its time (if you compare with so many mid-range devices even today). Proud of One Plus, Satisfied with One Plus 3.

For a better camera, and storage for sure, yeah I look forward to the 7.
And, am on the verge of buying the Bullets Wireless (after enough research via tech reviews on youtube wrt other Bluetooth options)

    Love you One Plus.

I'll agree on you with the metal backs and 3.5 mm jack, but wireless charging don't work on metal backs so the days of unibody aluminum for flagships are over. Plus, the newer devices (even mid range ones) are more power efficient as compared to SD 820/821.

The Pie beta is virtually a stable build in my own experience, if you want a slice a Pie then there's no real reason to wait for the stable build. They only problem is the Pie build is so good it makes you wonder if you should spend money trading up to a newer device, like the OP7/Pro 7!
