Google camera is a great app. I was getting a blue tint on OPO camera app. Perfect now on Google camera.

As far as lag in the camera app, andriodblollipop will be smoother, and there are different settings you can do to get your camera better

I think you have to consider the price point here. At a recent event inddors with my family my Moto G2 preformed far better than the iPhone in low light conditions.

I've already mentioned two main problems of OPO's camera that can be fixed by software.

    1) Better image postprocessing algotlrithm.
    2) Digital IS since it lacks OIS.

It feels like hardware can produce good images, but sometimes shots are just bad.

It wasn't really meant to complain about support as much as it was to figure out if anyone at all had ever had a good experience with OnePlus support. We just hear these horror stories all the time about OnePlus support. I've had to contact them three times and it was awful each time. They want half the price of the phone to replace a SIM slot!

I just dont see it.. the quality is behind the i products.

I agree 100%. Phone should be point and shoot. I was disappointed with the quality of the images from the OPO as well until I switched to using the Google Camera app. The difference is like night and day. With the stock camera app or with FV-5 the photos were very grainy in all conditions, and I was generally not pleased at all, to the point that I considered a different phone. But after installing Google Camera and using it to take photos I am quite pleased. The photos look pretty good.

My only complaint about the camera is the shutter speed. There are other camera apps out there. Zoom is very good for example - I bought that in an app sale years ago and if I'm ever unhappy with a stock camera app I fall back on Zoom.

That said, the Oneplus stock camera has RAW and to the best of my knowledge is the only camera phone to feature this. Check out this video which I thought showed off this feature pretty well:

I can confirm that the RAW images from the camera do look fantastic once you've run them through Lightroom. I admit I don't usually have this feature on, and I have a DSLR for when I really want to take great pictures, but I find it hard to complain about the OPO camera when it has this.

    Not to my knowledge, alt
not to my knowledge, darky might just be my preference, you can always edit the raw images.
