    Different users have different uses for the devices they spend money on. I for instance, couldn't care less about how the camera performs. Because i don't use the camera that often. However I do understand a lot of you must be buying this device with high hopes in it's camera features, and to them, OnePlus might not have delivered. But to me, with what i require from a device of this price range, the OnePlus 5T is more than satisfactory.

    Also, i said exactly what you said with my previous reply. This question doesn't say anything about the camera specifically in the title. Going with that, i don't believe OnePlus is deceiving the customers with their product. IF you SPECIFICALLY mentioned this question is about the camera, i would have voted for YES.

    Yes and my aim is to bring the issues with the camera to the attention of the OnePlus team so that they push software updates to improve it and don't cut corners while making the device.

    I don't think it's a hardware issue... a software patch can fix most of the problems. But OP doesn't seem to care now... They've bribed all YouTube channels for boasting about the model and did find success in selling the model 5T.
    And now they're going to release OP6!!! WTF!!!
    OP 5t camera should be at par with pixel given the specification of the model. Shame on OP.

    Yes, I actually placed an order for OP5t on Amazon, but I was lucky enough to come across these honest reviews. Also I was lucky to meet an owner of OP5t who actually confirmed my suspicions. I had cancelled my order after. Also the OP6 is just 3 months away!
    I would rather wait 3 months more to get it IF THEY FIX THIS ANNOYING CAMERA ISSUE, I am a guaranteed OP6 customer.

    I often see that point but how could you compare the price of a nearly 8 months old phones with a new one? Plus, I could say I can get a 5T 128Go for less than 475€ right now <- the comparing price all remain? The price is expected to go down.

    Oneplus devices never get price drop. The OP5 in India costs exactly same as OP5t. The 3 and 3T are no longer availiable to buy. I am comparing an actual flagship phone with one that claims to be.

    YES MAN. If they weed out all the camera issues and make an interesting product at a rational price, I WILL DITCH MY S8 for OP6 for sure.
    The OP5t is faster and more fluid than my S8 but the cam on OP5t is MASSIVE LET DOWN.
    Its like finding a very beautiful girl and you can't do it because she is a robot.

    Sure, I can compare it to Note8, that would make OP5t look really really bad but that is not the point.

    So what? Oneplus never reduces prices of devices as they get older, they just remove them out of the market. Throw out older models. So the comparison is fair as Oneplus 5t prices will NOT CHANGE even after OP6 releases. They will just remove it from market.

    I also agree with most of the comments. the main reason I purchased the phone was 'great camera features' as somebody said above dual camera is useless it only activates itself on a portrait mode to add bookeh effect. it has been a truly disappointment. I hope somebody will do something soon. we really need answers. I feel like cheated and lied.
