    it seems like a software issue like front cam's white balance and ev are messed up as well. it is a waste to destroy such a good hardware with a bad layer of app

    no offense but they didn't trick anyone, I was one of the first buyers and I knwe that the camera wasn't the best in the market after watching review videos and to be honest I get your point but the problems with the camera are mostly software issues that can be solved.

    I know it can be solved.. but they are not going to solve it. read everything I said man. the hardware is pretty decent. software processing is shit. when I told them they replied "everything seems to be fine". They are not going to improve the software processing. and the second low light camera? not worth shit.

I definitely see potential in the lowlight camera although it's not really useful jet.

    He's spot on there Bud, every OP camera was supposed to be amazing( in reviews) But as soon as it hits paid hands its a very different appraisal.
    Watch Mr Mobiles 5T review and hear his closing words.
    The move from a OP5 to a Note 8 for me, has seen a massive uplift in the camera packages quality and consistency.

    I agree it's a software issue, but they do trick consumers. They say their camera is awesome in low light condition, that was the main point of their phone.

    I made the permanent move From OP5 to The Note 8 and the Note produces high quality and is way more consistent.
    My brothers S7E is way better, my V20 is better.
    The OP5T is hard pushed to be worth $500 / £450 when you compare it to the MI6 and other high midranged phone that cost the same or less.
    With what the camera produces it should be less.

    Me too, But i think it is a software issue they are never going to fix. They are so focused on the OP6 development that they will leave Op5t owners in the lurch and gradually forget about it to oblivion.

    I was happy to invest 400€ in the OP3 all though I knew the camera app was crap...
    I didn't mind cause the hardware specs were great, the camera sensor is good and cause there's plenty of no fuzz camera apps out there, which deliver way better results...

    they could ditch the camera app like they did the music app...
    I personally wouldn't mind..

    i didn't go for the 5t cause they moved the FPS on the back but the price is still reasonable...

    For me there always a little more something wrong than just the software, even when they had OIS it was still worse for stabilisation than everyone elses.

    Ok, didn't remember it was such a main point in the marketing. But I still would have bought the phone if I knew the lowlight camera was not as great as they promised. The overall performance of the phone is great so I am not complaining.
