    If anyone wants to do both things, he/she can donate the valuable one from the list of phones for the contest, and smash some random cheap old phone just for the fun of trying up the idea proposed for the contest

    OP the donation idea is great. I do have another idea for you. Maybe you can do a program where a buyer can pay an extra $100 (on top of the $199 for the 16GB) to have a 16GB donated to the same project. a One for one, kinda like toms shoes does.
