    Hey Community!

    The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC has just been announced and it’s already getting a lot of buzz in the tech world. There’s still a lot Qualcomm has yet to announce about this new chip, but here’s a short summary of the things we do know:
    • It has full integration with the X60 5G modem and supports both mmWave & sub-6 5G bands. (Exciting for the people that do have access to a 5G Network!)
    • A Spectra ISP (Image signal processor) that is up to 35% faster and capable of better 8K video recording, 120 frames captured per second at 12MP, etc.
    • A 6th Gen AI Engine which is expected to lead to better processing and efficiency in tasks that require AI.
    • An upgraded Adreno GPU with ‘significant’ upgrades in performance.
    • Oh and... OnePlus is going to launch a flagship with the 888 5G SoC in the first half of 2021 (Source)

    It's high time for OnePlus to include 960fps slow motion in camera department and. Make camera department superior . Provide telephoto,wide angle,main ,& ultra wide.sensor.
    edit: Thanks for all likes I hope we all get to see 960fps slow motion in upcoming OnePlus flagship!

    While everyone was expecting a SD 875 chipset for new devices, 888 has surely taken the edge.

    Let's see what's more in the new tech market.

    Fireworks ,rains,ice breaking there's lot to do with slow motion . otherwise there won't be even 480fps slow motion..
    if OnePlus provided only 240fps slow motion and people asked for 480fps then you won't be asking that question!

    Ya whatever.. but it will be better implementation than monochrome .. which was done on OnePlus 8T.

    I agree about the second part, but I'd prefer an untra-wide camera, a wide-angle camera, a short telephoto camera, and a periscope camera. Covers all focal lengths

    I think Qualcomm will still have to launch a 875 soc or something powerful than 865 to rival Samsung's exynos 1080 which is a cheaper upper mid-range soc and rumoured to be better than sd865
