    If I correctly understand you doubt, that your earpiece is producing sound other than call .. ie for speaker purpose
    Then if I am not mistaken it is the intended use for implementation of dual speakers on oneplus.
    just check if the speaker at the bottom is also firing at the same time.
    Of so, you are good to go,
    if not.... well the diagnosis required
