The worst...

What is the worst injury you've had? What was the story behind it?

I once had my nail torn out of the nail bed because I was moving a table and someone accidentally pushed it and my poor thumb got jammed between the table and a doorway... blood everywhere. Only the end of the nail was hanging on, so the doctor simply jammed the nail back into place and it made a horrid crackling sound. Not going to post pictures because too much blood.... but luckily it's all healed now with minimal scars.

I also came across this image in class and decided to share this picture instead.

12 years old in the 7th grade, I was sledding when I hit a ramp at the bottom of a snowy hill. I went straight up, the sled kept going. I landed flat on my back on a hard patch of ice and herniated 3 discs in the lumbar region. Inoperable I have had severe back pain and issues ever since.

Fell when a wooden plank broke under me as a kid and landed on it; my cheek was torn open and nearly ripped completely in half.

Jumped off of my friends moving bike and rolled on the ground pretty hard. When i got up my pinky fingernail was bent all the way back and hanging on barely.

Went to doctor and they "ripped off" the nail and worst of all, gave me a shot on the exposed pinky where the nail used to be.

Worst injury was when i fell from a gymnast pole (i was standing on it..a freakish bet in 4th grade from my cousin), i grabbed on to the pole and dislocated both my shoulder, then fell and broke my leg...
The doctor plastered both my arms and one leg...I felt like a damn MUMMY

Landed on a foot after a jump in basketball ending up dislocating my knee.
    Result:
    1. Torn ACL
    2. Crack/indentation in the femur bone as result of femur and tibia crashing into each other
    3. Torn meniscus

I never want this ever again.
