Aaron2017 , Mar 13, 2022 : The theme store is only available for India users on OxygenOS 12. Sideloading the apk won't work if you're on Oxygen OS 11 as it s not compatible with that OxygenOS version. If you want Oxygen OS 12, you can either wait for the OTA update or download it from external sources, like oxygen updater app or links on sites like XDA for example, and do a local upgrade

Download the Oxygen updater app from the play store and download and install the update that way, the app will automatically give you the correct update version and instructions on how to install it so that's the easiest way to install the update yourself. The newest version has started to roll out yesterday, but so far only for India users who already are on Oxygen OS 12. https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/oxygenos-12-c-46-update-for-oneplus-9-and-oneplus-9-pro.1552166/ You can wait for that to reach your device too, once a wider full update release begins

Aaron2017 , Mar 25, 2022 : I have no idea. The 9 and 9 pro has had 4 or 5 Oxygen OS 12 updates by now, and there too only the India variant has it for now. So it might come later, maybe they're waiting for feedback on how they like it since it were the Indian users that requested the theme store the most. But it also might not come at all. 🤷

Aaron2017 , Mar 26, 2022 : You could also sideload it, i have done this on my 8 pro to see what it's all about. But it's not the full theme store as it is for Indian users, there's just some different themes and fonts, not a lot.
