    I'd probably freeze my phone to -320°F (-196°C) using liquid nitrogen and then pulverize it with a good old hammer. Not sure how the battery will react to that, but I would expect some kind of explosion when it warms up again... ;)

    No, seriously... I would not do that and I sincerely recommend everybody to NOT hit your phone with a hammer (battery included or not and regardless on which temperature), since the risk of physical injuries is too great, especially when you try to film the whole process.
