This might help you decide whether 'Oneplus 2' or 'Moto X pure'

Thought the so called Spapdragon 810 v2.0(better heat dissipation) is a small change. The end effect is still great. Unlike the other phones which run the 810 like HTC One m9 and LG G flex2, OP2 doesn't throttle as much.

It the former phones, it was very clear while running repeated Antutu benchmarks that the score kept dropping as the phone heated up. But Oneplus 2 seems to have a big improvement in that area. The results have been much steadier that the other two.

This might have helped a bit more if you were somehow able to put this in a chart form where you able to compare side by side. Great compilation though and it has helped me make a more informed decision!!!

There has been no official news of when it is releasing in India. Since preorders have already started in US, i'm guessing in a month, it will launch in India.

Price difference is less in the USA but much greater in the UK.

On on board memory I am not sure a 64GB version of the Moto will be available in all countries and remember ECC is much faster than SD memory.

    • Turbo charging proved (0 - 40% in 15 min)
    • THIS SHORTENS THE BATTERY LIFE AND THE DIFFERENCE IS NOT THAT BIG
    • NFC support
    • TRUE AND EVEN THOUGH I DON'T NEED IT IT'S NOT A GOOD MOVE FROM OP
    • Larger and sharper display (4.7' quad HD over 4.5' full HD)
    • 5.7 AND 5.5 IT IS, IF MAKING THE EFFORT NUMBERS SHOULD BE RIGHT
    • Build it Contextual processing (separate cores for NLP, voice recognition, Gesture recognition) - this is super cool, check out Moto X8 processor for more.
    • EASILY FORGOTTEN IN REAL LIFE, SOUNDS NICE, IS NICE BUT NO KEY FEAT.
    • SD card support upto 128 GB (you can't use it for OS and few apps)
    • IF ONE NEEDS IT, OK MOST PEOPLE EVEN WITH TOUSANDS OF PHOTOS & SONGS STILL HAVE SPARE ROOM ON SDCARD WITH 64GB
    • More stable updates and support from Moto, since Oneplus is notorious in such areas
    • TRUE BUT THEN WHOEVER STAY ON STOCK UNROOTED SHOULD BUY ANOTHER PHONE IMO AND WITH A GOOD CUSTOM ROM AND KERNEL MY OPO IS AND OP2 WILL BE HARD TO BEAT :)

    • Water resistant (splashing, moisture, rain etc)
    • 25 YEARS MOBILE PHONE USER, LOST ONLY ONE FONE DUE TO WATER AND
    • THEN IT FELL INTO THE OCEAN WHERE IT DOES NOT HELP. NICE BUT NO KEY FEAT.

    • 21 Megapixels over 13(however mega pixels are everything)
    • PIXELS R NOT EVERYTHING BUT THE MOTO-CAM IS INDEED TOP 3 AVAILABLE

    • Moto maker customisation (not available in India though o_O)
    • A POINT FOR SOME BUT I PREFER CLASSIC STYOE & DESIGN,
    • PERHAPS AGE IS SHOWING HERE "LOL"

I still feel time will prove the use of that chip to be a poor choice.

Everyone has their own opinion and I hope for all those that get this phone that in the end I'm proved wrong.

I'll wait for the OP4 comes in 2017 if OnePlus is still at it then. I hope the company matures and can grow as well as gets rid of the silly invite system.

We can only speculate about the price now :) .. Many sites are guessing around 28K for the 16 GB variant.

Great review you just forgot the the pure is not considerably more then the OP2 the price difference is $10 USD which is worth it if you dont want to wait for an invite by Oneplus

Meh, I'd consider the QHD display a negative. There's a difference between 1080 and 1440 but they're really not that big at all. Unless you're trying to show off the bad battery life. I'm really excited though as to how OnePlus decided to keep 1080.

    28k is fine for me
    Not more than that
Some sites quoted the price as 26k

    Thanks! To answer your question, it is worth noting that Oneplus's 64 GB model itself is 390 $. Moto X 16 GB - 400 $ , 32 GB - 450 $ , 64 GB - 500$ . But Moto supports SD cards, so there's that :)

Your welcome and thats absolutely true the 16gb with the sd card can still be a great value but also the pure allows you to customize without the extra charger of lets just say a style swap cover ☺however even though that sounds great ill stick with the oneplus because without oneplus a moto pure probably would of been unheard of at that price
