    If you have space to keep that lens, you have space to keep an entire dslr with you

    @jesusprice
    My main camara is my phone... so if I'm at a concert with no other means of getting a closer shot I might consider it. Thanks for the post mate!

    People are way too reluctant to put up their phone for more than 10 seconds.

    I would love to get it, but for that price... I'm alright with keeping my money in my pockets.

    In would just go and buy the Sony RX100 MK III. Great camera, probably one of the best pocket camera out. You can also transfer photos from and to the OP using NFC.

    Obviously portability is the main drawback here. You would have to carry an additional case for this thing which defeats the purpose of a portable smartphone. Nice to know there are options out there though.

    Why spend the money on this would the image quality would still be at the mercy of the CMOS sensor in the phone when you could just buy a DSLR. I understand the portability of a phone and a lense attachment, but if you want high quality photos a DSLR is going to give you far better results.

    These don't work off the built-in camera or battery - they have their own. The phone is basically just a viewfinder. Once you take the pic, it's wirelessly transferred to your phone. In theory it doesn't even have to be attached to the phone to take pics, really, which could be cool in a way. Think GoPro meets NEX6.
