Three £15 payg, unlimited data, 300 mins, 3000 txt. Have 4G in Gtr Manchester which peaks around 10meg - not the fastest but it's a strong signal and good enough to stream HD video. Firmware is YNG1TAS17L.

I have good 4G but I experience some dodgy call reception. Probably about 25% of the time I sound as though I'm underwater to the other caller. I can hear them fine, though.

When you buy a phone in future, the 800mhz band is useless unless you buy the phone from three. This is because the 800 mhz is for VoLTE only, which requires software and an approved device from three. I'm using the OnePlus 2 and I'm in a 800mhz area but still only using the 1800 band

On CM13, is anyone having issues with LTE dropping out occasionally, even when the signal on the status bar says otherwise, and phone calls not working (no sound)?

I've tried the latest CM Modem (00011) and the latest H2OS Modems (00004 & 00013). All have the same problems.

However using OxygenOS's modem (00241) makes calls and LTE work properly, but causes random reboots. And trying to flash the 44S modem just makes my SIM card not get recognised.

And yes, of course I am on the Three UK network.

While I'm not using CM13, I'm using cos12.1, with the 00241 modem I'm having no issues with signal or stability issues (random reboots)

Problem is I don't want to go back to using CM12.1 or COS12.1. I like having the latest Android OS, and CM13 is very fast. Plus I'd have to do a factory reset.

If you like having the latest cutting edge unofficial software then you need to be prepared for bugs. Either roll back to the last configuration that worked or go to stock.

Actually, I've managed to fix my own problem. Read it here to see how I did it.
