Before anyone asks, I have already searched for this, I found lots of posts talking about how people use it but none telling me how I do it.

Can anyone tell me how I find it on the camera please? I am not sure which option it is.

    Thanks in advance

Stock cyanogen camera ⇒ 4th icon in the middle right (portrait mode) ⇒ swipe to left ⇒ you'll see the time lapse option

Does anyone know how it works? If I set it at 3 hours does it set it's own camera shots over that period or does it mean it take a shot every 3 hours?

The time-lapse video has a Time Interval setting where you can set X shot per Y (interval: seconds, minutes, hours).

I've tried a 1/seconds setting and recorded for 1 hour. This resulted in a 59 seconds video.

    I am using OnePlus 6

I've tried a 1 min Recording. This resulted in a 10 seconds video.

Your Video Shoot on Time laps Mode is 5X times recorder faster than normal one.

That's the Default settings. Hope this Help's
    Thanks :) Cheers

I would like to know how we can tweak time lapse settings. Right now i think 6 seconds of footage is made into 1 second of the time lapse video. Will be good if we can change this setting. For example, if I want to capture a time lapse video of the sunset, it may take about 20 mins. That will become a 3 minute video. What if i want it to be just 15 seconds? This is really sad. A premium phone like OnePlus not offering such settings is seriously shameful. Budget phones still have this option.
