First android phone and rooted with no issues. Did it mostly so I could use air audio with my Bose air link speakers. Also installed titanium and tasker. Have no real idea how to use tasker yet, but when I get some free time I will be exploring an HD creating new profiles with it.

Personally I'm not a very big fan of cm and I love pure vanilla android. I will defo root my phone upon receiving and installing aokp asap. I also use gravity box including some more modular from xposed. Since you are using gravity box I assume you are using nexus 5 like me. And if you are than try Franco kernal.

Paranoid Android is reason enough to root, if you were to ask me. They have so many amazing features that I couldn't imagine myself not using.

Dont root it unless you wanna accomplish something or trying something new. And if you do root it, use CyanogenMod.

I agree. PA 4.5 is in beta. So I shall wait for stable. Root and install. Until then I'll wait for Cyanogen to fix the battery bug in their new One Plus update
