    My man! :D:cool:

Hot damn, this is quite the throwback. Here we were completely addicted to FIFA 98, but that was with the Mega Drive. So many hours wasted invested.:p

Yes. It was all fun with FIFA until Championship Manager showed up.

And man, that game was so addictive that I skipped meal times and sleep.

Oh man... So I'm in the process of moving, finding old stuff I haven't seen in... let's just say... a while (Decades.)

I found this and instantly thought of this @Cheetosdust thread to unleash some vintage phone on you...
    Behold...
    the Nokia 7190!!!
....but not just any Nokia 7190...

    What makes this phone special?
What were you doing week 32 in 1999?
Were you working on a Prototype of the First WAP enabled Nokia Phone... the venerable 7190?

That's right. This is a Prototype Nokia 7190.

    Ahhh.... memories...
This is a GSM phone by the way... I technically could use it... but alas...
I need to keep packing. I move in a week.

Oh man, thank you so much for sharing the photos and the story behind them - so so cool!

I do remember the 7190 (here in Portugal it was known as the 7110 and it didn't have that huge "Digital" mark) it was a venerable phone, indeed. When I was growing up, that was one of the most coveted devices here. I still remember that when you saw one, you took notice, mainly because of the sliding mechanism. Get to see new photos of it, especially from a prototype is a treat.

PS: That wheel was so satisfying, hah! :D

Those were the days. It was cool to be working for them back then...
Now... All the phones are capable.
    Back then...
    Not so much.

I understand if you can't comment, but are you still working in something related to tech? Sounds like a pretty cool job you had, with so many seeecreets. :D

I don't remember that, pretty sure I've missed it. Was it a big it back in 1991? :)

Now, Bomberman I remember, Dig Dug too.
