    Contest #35

Contest is over! @mprokolo is the winner! Congrats!

Ok guys: here's the clue: 2LGINNVLK3Y68V

You need to use columns - they are very good. Need at least four, and move them around - the key is PLUS, as PLUS means more, better!

PM me only the solution and I will give you the missing characters!

    HINT: Cryptography.

HINT2: It's a easy to use cipher. My original post has hints on which cipher.

Soution: This a column transposition cipher. This cipher is so easy that you can do it with a piece of paper and pen. The text is written in row-wise into a table of x columns (of 4 here) and transposed as per the alphabet order in the key - it is then read column-wise. See the picture for more clarity.

    Contest35.jpg
So, the cipher text is 2LGI NNVL 68V K3Y - the original text is N2-6KNL-83VG-VYLI; two missing characters were PM'ed to winner.
