Does anyone get this annoying behavior when taking the phone off silent mode or upon waking the phone up and you get a whole bunch of audible notifications all at once. It's extremely annoying. it's like whenever I change the sound mode or wake the phone up this thing goes absolutely crazy. Does anyone else experience that?

makes me want to throw this damn thing against the wall. It's especially annoying when you're sitting on an airplane.

if you wake the device, few minutes before turning the Dnd off , it won't bombard you ;) . it's because the device was.disconnected during that period

It's not OnePlus, it's how Android works. When your device is Still for a while, it will go into Deep Sleep mode, which in turn saves battery and prevents notifications. The device will wake up every once in a while to check for notifications.

Also, when you create your account, it knows your region. In return, it may not send you notifications during the hours that a typical person may be sleeping. For example, I am from the US, and around 12:00 AM (midnight) I pretty much stop receiving notifications. When I wake up, I start receiving notifications around 7:00 AM. Currently I am in South Korea, which is about a 12-14 hour difference, so now my phone decides to send me notifications (mainly emails, games, and social apps) at 12:00 AM (South Korea time), when I'm normally sleeping. I still receive normal notifications though during the day when I'm awake because I am active on my device, or it's been used recently enough to not go into Deep Sleep mode.

    Again, it's not OnePlus' doing.

Thanks for your reply. If it is not my Oneplus then why is it only my phone doing it and other Android phones do not exhibit this behavior? Just wondering.

How did you come to that conclusion?
Are you sure what you said is correct or are you just guessing.
