I have been using this app to install my tarp successfully previously.
However, since the latest update I don't seem to be able to use it any more.
The message unable to unzip comes up repeatedly.
Anyone with similar experience to share and offer a solution?

Rooting TWRP is actually extremely easy and doesn't require a shady installer to do so.

Look up a guide. There's an entire guide written by Funk Wizard showing how it's done step-by-step.

That guide is amazing! @Funk Wizard has done such a great job that even someone like me - who's terribly afraid of rooting - almost did it !

I have a question relating to TWRP.
This happens to my inner plus 6.
When I gotten the TWRP on my phone, the app don't stay there for good. I mean when I reboot the phone, it is gone.
Is this expected or have I done something wrong to cause that?

I have little to no idea about rooting. Let me tag someone who knows about it. @B_Wrath , could you please help him?

    Thanks for the tag. :)
Did you follow all the steps mentioned in the guide?
First you install TWRP and then boot into TWRP and install it again. This is to ensure that TWRP is installed in both the slots since OP6 is a A/B partition device.
Then without booting into OS, you need to install magisk and then boot to OS.
Further, check if you have the latest TWRP.

Thank you for your input on TWRP.
I did not unreal the TWRP the second time. That's probably the cause of my problem.
By installing the second time you mean to install from within the TWRP app.?

Within the TWRP recovery. Without booting to os.
