Top 5 Playstation games in your opinion? Jul 15, 2015

Nice list. The PSX was definitely the console during what I consider the golden age of JRPGs before Square went downhill in quality.

I would also throw in Xenogears, Final Fantasy VII-IX, Suikoden 1 and 2, and Chrono Cross.

Making a top 5 playstation games list is hard lol. My top 5 would be a combination of these games, Metal Gear Solid series, and Uncharted 2. I also played a lot of Tekken 3 and Tag Tournament as a kid.

golden age for jrpgs was snes but yeah psx FF7 was the game changer, and metal gear solid series was so awesome i liked 3 the most where you had to forage for food as well as tend to wounds

MMmm FF6 and Chrono Trigger are some of the best JRPGs but I'd say PSX era had more titles and quality games to offer in the genre.

Oh yeah MGS3: Snake Eater is my favorite too. I loved the system and the story was epic.
