well I can definitely see this effect when comparing my typing on 3T vs my S6 edge... so definitely there and not fixed even on the beta3 7.1.1

Are you using something other than default (HDR, etc)? If anything try to clear your cache.

Try pointer location on developer options, and see yourself there is no lag,so its not a hardware problem.

Just try turning off the magnification gestures from Settings -Advanced - Accessibility - Magnification Gestures. And you can go back to your tap-tapping.

The touch latency that you feel is because of the OS waiting to see if you're triple tapping (for magnification) or not.

I'm running B12 and I cannot duplicate your claim. Mine scrolls immediately, even with the smallest movement.

Yea definitely there, but it barely noticeable in normal use since I rarely scroll for that very tiny space (1mm-5mm? sorry I don't scroll like that)

If you will stop using other phones, your brain will adapt after some time (it will train itself to expect certain delay and slowly begin to ignore it on conscious level). Of course if you play time sensitive games, then your opponents will still have some advantage.

If you don't look at other phones 2k displays you'll think the OP3s display is stunning and 1080 is "more than enough".

Touch latency has nothing to do with gestures, its a.closed source firmware which could be renew and updated only by oem-s......
