Still no reply from Oneplus even though the issue ruins the phone experience? Can't OP at least make an official statement on the issue?

I'm pretty sure there will be changes in next following OTA updates, just wait for them.

It is often also called touchscreen input lag or delayed touchscreen response but it's the same thing. Can confirm that it deffinitely exists on OP3. iPhone from model 6 onward has < 60ms of touch latency and HTC with their One M8 model reached < 50ms on the android side. Both those phones are from 2014. On the other hand, OP3 is around ~100ms which has been pretty common in 2013 flagships. I think I wrote enough.

That's a big problem, I hope OnePlus engineers can fix it just updating the Touch Firmware

My xperia m which is a low end device released in 2013 has better touch latency. Just sayin'.

I saw some review that notice the touch latency on this phone.

    http://www.lesnumeriques.com/telephone-portable/oneplus-3t-p36157/test.html

If you can't understand french, they say that the oneplus 3T as 93 ms of touch lantency and the average of other phones is 87 ms. But phone like google pixel and iphones can get under 40 ms of touch latency.

PS : One way to test the latency on your phone is to enable "Show touches" in the developer settings. A white dot should follow your finger while touching your screen.

Just got an update. I had version A3003_28_161027 before, and now I have A3003_28_161122. The changelog says "Updated touch panel firmware and optimized accuracy". :)

I don't know who Carl is but if he's a Oneplus employee (and purposely ignoring this) could this point at a hardware issue that's not fixable with software?
