puccellino , Jan 19, 2022 : The sensitivity issue affects many phones, and has been an issue for over a year now. I think it's s coincidence you noticed it after the upgrade. My understanding is it could be to do with the swipe back feature, and the screen manufacturer has desensitised the edge of the screen. G1587122816446 , via OnePlus 9 Pro , Jan 19, 2022 : It was happening on 11 when I first got the phone but it was gradually not an issue after updates were released. It is the swipe back that's causing the issue. I like the feature it's just that it seems overly sensitive since 12 like when I first got the phone again.
