PS: wow, no users requesting this to be implemented via software update to their OP6/5t/5.. yet? woooow

check the quotes below. they have already started asking for it. dimwits don't realise it needs a sensor to work

just the concept bro is copied as it's from same parent company, hence they have already spent on R&D, but the target market for all phones are different!!

I am unhappy vivo did it first. you guys were working on it from op5t and couldn't deliver it on the op6. vivo and op are basically the children of bk. they may not be allowed to share tech and developers, but the crux of the tech might be shared. so unhappy vivo was the first.
just expecting op's to be far faster than vivo

Yeah bro ur right but as a user, is it wrong to expect the oneplus device launch first before oppo and vivo? That's my concern

yes. but isn't the concept is what is important. if they(bk) needed feedback, they should have distributed devices -in house. that's how Nokia did it. they brought in so much new tech( though they couldn't keep that up). moreover vivo, oppo target market is fragile,ie they(buyers) switch fast. so there's no point in launching the new tech through vivo and oppo. bk should have reserved the tech and put it in op.
albeit it will bring internal wars, but nothing which can't be handled. all I am saying is that op is the perfect for them to test out be tech

anyway it's their parent company right. OnePlus always does the same. no innovations from their end

haan and who doesn't have budget of 35-40K? what they'll do? why don't ppl understand both are same company. just target market is different. vivo oppo is for different segment customers and one plus is for different segment that's it. again both are same company. and one plus in display finger sensor is way far better then vivo oppo, so there's again new technology, innovation and R&D involved, both are not same[e]1f602[/e][e]1f602[/e]

can we say one plus is 1st company with perfect in display finger print sensor? or 1st company to always come up with standard stable innovated technology to put forward in market instead of just coming with innovation and failing in standards?

I don't think they have changed the hardware. the fingerprint might be faster only because of better software integration. the target market for the tow child comp are different. for oppo - it's a budget phone in India and vivo is budget again.
whereas op is for the tech savvy market yet giving it on budget basis. the principles of bk is to not keep the price to high. and no r &d is there for this purpose on op's side. yes they might have introduced new developers for faster integration. let's all keep in mind oppo is the one that produces op phones. so it's obvious they share tech.
