Touch the future with Screen Unlock

It looks like it's copied, not necessarily developed by OnePlus. In fact, the whole package is a borrowed thing. There are people who are doing things, and OnePlus is simply waiting...to copy.

    And the Teardrop!
Too too bad to look at.

Well well, lets hope it gets better from here...
Even though i have my 6, will always look forward to new tech being integrated into OnePlus...

I can't believe that. I was waiting for it for a very long time and finally that technology is here! And you made it. Thanks guys! As always. Can't wait to see the Screen Unlock in action!

You can always rely on Twitter for having that sort of feedback. :p

But I bet you will have it soon also around here.

And yeah, I'm sure OnePlus will soon launch an OTA update that will bring it even to the Oneplus One. :p :D ;)

I think you will find that screen unlock will become the preferred way to unlock your phone as it should be more reliable compared to face unlock and just as fast.

Will it be as fast, realible and secure as the current scanner on the 6 ?

I know exactly what you mean! I still love my 5T... will have to really think about upgrading or waiting a bit longer.

This sounds very promising. I always found the fingerprint scanners on the back of a phone a bit weird. If the phone is lying on the table and doesn't have face-unlock, you have to lift it up to get to it. Screen-unlock is the future, of course it is!

Great but can you please explain how the OPPO R17 which is the base of the 6T manages to have the underdisplay fingerprint reader and keeps the jack?

Fanboys being whipped into a frenzy over 1 year old soon to be defunct tech.:tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:.
I hear the word innovation and I'm still scratching my head as to where it can be found on a OP device, one needs some R&D not hand me down designs and internals to innovate.

Because features are purposely held back to "justify" the T devices.
Same old PR they pulling every time.

This whole post screams "Apple" so much, my head hurts.

But hey, they are doing a great job with their whole social media, we are a community PR and they are building great (sometimes purposely flawed) devices.
