There are some Touch issues with the OnePlus 7. While pinch to zoom and holding my thumbs, on Google Maps for example, the map goes crazy. With thumbs touching together, they gets recognized many times (as false imput, tested on the multi touch test app). Problems like that happens in various situation when holding thumb/s on the screen (like gestures etc). Seems like ghost touch issue. Attached some videos to prove the issue. It will be a good thing to understand if it's a sw or hw problem. Engineering mode screen test says its ok. Dunno, on what OOS version are you?

Got a new OP7, no problem on 9.5.3

Then updated to 9.5.6 and guess whos back? Same issue on the new one. At least seems like a SW issue now..

I flashed a LineageOS test build found on xda, no problem at all... meh

Can you confirm this issue won't happen with a case on the device?

I've always had the official case on during my tests.
It does not make any difference with or without the case.

got a reply from a OnePlus bug hunter.

"We're working on this, once we have an update, I'll let you know for sure."

    Same problem here on OOS9.5.8.

Also noticed that this problem only occurs to me in specific conditions; When environment temperatures rise above approximately 25 degrees Celsius. And when I touch the bottom housing of the phone with another finger. When I only hold the sandstone case and use two fingers to touch, the problem doesn't occur to me.
