I try to reboot yesterday and nothing has changed.... Tonight in airplane mode and safe battery mode, awake of GPService full activity and 15% of battery drain without using in the night.... I think that I try to reinstall everything....

That sucks. Are you waiting that long for answers? If you want, you could send me a PN with your ticked number and two sentences describing the issues. I could try to escalate this.

100% agree with you. Magic question is, how many people need to get angry enough about this to start a civil case against @Carl and his whole team? I reckon we're well on the way.

I wasn't having any ghost touch problems before but decided to flash this 'update' as a few people had suggested it resolved the Google Play services wakelock. I'm not having any touchscreen issues after (either ghosting or multi-touch) but the wakelock is unaffected.

I pulled the framework-res after flashing and can confirm it still had the SystemUpdateService(s) disabled, so anyone hoping that it will fix that issue as well, you're out of luck!

Uncheck the "update recovery" in developer options. System updates won't replace your recovery then :)

The first day of use after installing update awake time of Google Play service was not persistent like now. What do you think? Thanks

You have Google Play Service battery drain bug. Your phone does not sleep. Performances are not good. But we are OT here.

Didn't consider myself having Ghost touch, but now the typing is much more responsive. Thx for the nice kernel and fast development. Got instant donation today. Totally worth it!

OTA should come soon. I'm using Boeffla kernel in the mean time. You need to have an unlocked bootloader though.

If you are in fastboot mode after step 6, you are fine, go on to step 7. I think what they meant was that if the phone fully reboots, i.e., you are not in fastboot mode, you need to repeat the steps.

It does not relock the bootloader, but it does replace the recovery. Edit the "2" .bat file not to flash the recovery if you want to keep the existing one.

Okay, thanks for that info. Guess it must have just been a transient from the new installation that it didn't manifest at first. Oh, well...

Actually, this process will ignore that setting and replace the recovery since the "2" .bat file explicitly flashes the recovery. An OTA will respect that setting, though.

...why Making an update so hard to install, can you make it easier ? I don't want to wipe the phone and install everything back again... Waste of time
