Download Google Photos on your iPhone and make a cloud backup of your photos to your Google account. Then the same photos will be acessable in Google photos on your Android device.

Personally, I am using this rather convenient phone manager AirMore at the moment. I use it because the connection is quite simple and it meets all my demands to transfer my media files. Here I am gonna share it with you guys:
    1. First, go to its official site and open the launch page or I call it connecting page.
    2. Download AirMore onto your phone.
    3. Open the app, you can choose to connect with USB cable, or just use the app to scan the code which appears on the connecting page. OR you can use the hotspot function, below is the interface of AirMore's app menu, click the "hotspot" icon and establish the common network between ur phone and ur PC, which means this connection doesn't need USB or Wi-Fi network. How cool is that?

    4. After connected successfully, you can transfer media files like your photos, music, or videos online or operate on your phone directly.
    5. From what I found, it has this clipboard function also, any words or texts I copied on my phone, it will automatically upload to the AirMore's clipboard section, so I can actually transfer the copied text between my phone and PC just by a simple copy action.
Anyway, this really helps me out and works well for me. Hope this can help you guys, and if you have any better app recommendations, let me know!!

Great! The method of transferring photos to a computer using iTunes and then transferring the photos from the computer to the Android device seems to enable data transfer between the iPhone and the Android device. By the way, I have seen the AirMore app, but I have no experience with it. I would like to use the app to transfer it may be a good choice, I will try it when I change my phone next time.
