It should charge in 40 minutes. Are you using the original warp 65 charger and cable for charging?

Factory reset and update to latest os available. If you still face the issue visit service center

Factory reset is not always the solution... Dont give this suggestion all the time for all issues rather reply with proper solution (if have)... Factory reset is not an easy task when you have days of data, and apps setup and configuration... if someone like me have 20's of business working apps.

Ok now for solution: drain out the battery completely, and charge the mobile from 0-100%. Make sure dont turn on the mobile untill fully charge... and record the time if mobile charges within 40min the mobile and charging brick is ok...

39min achieved in some ideal conditions like battery temperature, room temperature, etc. I am achieving perfact charging speed in normal conditions... Although sometimes it took time because of 12 layers of circuit protection is trying to preventing the battery damage...

Do not need to turn off the "optimize charging" option because this is helping your battery to keep safe and understanding the charging behaviour to keep battery life long.
.. i think slow charging is better in term of battery life...

Update: with 65 watt charging brick team OnePlus claiming that it will give you 80% battery life after 1000 charging cycles... Hope this information will help.

That's highly likely and you are correct slow charging does help with battery life- however slow charging creates heat so it's a moot point. I've had 50W phones for about 5 years now, Warp charge and SuperVooc etc is a better way because the heat is kept away from the phone.

1000 cycles to 80% is good for Li-Ion chemistry. That's better than last years chem which was 500 cycles roughly. But when we start using LifeP04 in mobiles that will increase to 2000,3000 and beyond before the 80%

Of course - doing 15-95% is better than 0-100. But then again if you did 100%>66%>100% you would increase that 1000 to about 1800. Anyway as most phones last 2-3 years before they are swapped- 1000 cycles is good enough
