Trying to get OP3 working on Verizon

I got my OP3 working on all cylinders on Verizon. Voice, text, and data. On occasion, I'm only getting 3g (when there is only band13). But the 3g speed is fine and when I get 4g, it's crazy fast... Faster than what I'm used to. I assume it's because all other Verizon phones default to band 13 when available?

Note: one weird thing about it though is that OP3 registers the cell service as "123456"...not Verizon.

How did you get the data to work. When I try the data it never works. I have been using my t-mobile Sim for data.

You have to turn on roaming on your Sim. Even though you're not actually roaming... It won't work otherwise.

There is not one place where OnePlus claims to support Verizon or Sprint on the OP3, and I read or watched at least a half dozen US-based reviews of the phone (Android Central, Android Authority, The Verge, Engadget, at least a couple others) and every one of them mentioned it won't work on Verizon or Sprit in the US, only T-Mobile and AT&T. You should have done at least a little homework before ordering--this does not make the phone garbage.

If you're roaming, you will see an "R" indicator on the top of your screen

I don't know what you're talking about... Because I'm sending this with my OP3 on the Verizon network. Can you show me one of the reviews that say that it does not work on Verizon? I'd like to message them to correct them.

This is not a thread over which carrier to get. It's a thread over whether Verizon will work with OP3. There are various reasons why someone would choose Verizon over t-mobile. For me personally, my company uses Verizon only. And by the way... It does work on Verizon.

You were told that this phone only works on WCDMA/GSM carrier
However OP3 can work on Verizon but only call and Message

I have Verizon through work and ATT for personal. When I run dual sim, they both work great except when I am at work. The Verizon goes to no service but ATT is good. I can't make/receive calls or texts. Drive 20 mins away and my phone starts blowing up with all the missed notifications. I did set it to roaming with voice..any other suggestions?

Apparently there are a few cities in the US where CDMA Band 0 is not owned by Verizon, therefore Verizon Sim Cards won't work. I live in Dallas and cannot get signal with an activated Verizon Sim Card.

So if I just wanted phone does it work 100%. I have att but in some locations I get no service, so I wanted something to supplement the calling aspect. Without all the bands will calls not be 100% or is that just on the data side?

Received my OP3 yesterday, waiting on my T-mobile Sims to arrive, Insert the Verizon Sim straight from my LG G4, went into settings under Cellular network settings turned on mobile data and roaming. I get Calls, Text and 3G data. Verizon CDMA 3G is pretty slow but in a speed test I get consistent 2-3mbps both at home and at work.

Are you able to send and receive MMS with your setup? I have Verizon as main phone and a T-Mobile line I wanna use for data but MMS won't work with that set up. Suggestions? Solution?

I am trying to do the same thing you have set up, I downloaded Verizon messages but it still won't download MMS when it is connected to wifi. Did you have this issue? Have you found a better solution for running a Verizon/T-Mobile combo?

I'm using a total wireless sim which is running off of Verizon towers. Worked great on my Nexus 5X. I followed directions posted to get talk, text, and data working. I get talk and text but no data what so ever. 3G and 4G LTE are available in my area. Maybe it's the available bands?
