Trying to get OP3 working on Verizon

    aenews , Feb 9, 2017 :
OP3/OP3T supports 1X/3G over Band 0 CDMA. Areas using Band 1 (CDMA) would not have coverage. OP3/OP3T supports LTE over Band 2 and Band 4. It does not have Band 13 LTE (Verizon's Main LTE Band).

How is AT&T/T-Mobile coverage in your area?

Band 13 is Verizon's primary LTE Band, but they also have a good amount of areas using Band 2 and Band 4 to various degrees.

They generally use Band 0 (CDMA), there are a considerable number of major cities using Band 1 which wouldn't get 1X/3G.

In general, calls will never be on LTE on any carrier unless VoLTE is enabled on both the device and carrier. That would have been normal for most devices a couple years ago.

When using Verizon on the OP3, there seems to be an issue switching between 3G (CDMA) and LTE. So it's to be expected.
